- About Me:
- I was born in San Bonifacio, in the Province of Verona, Italy, on February 14, 1967. I became interested in contemporary art while studying at the university, and became the assistant of the visual poet Sarenco. After earning a degree in Contemporary Literature, I began to collaborate with various galleries and internet sites that operate in the field of contemporary art and I have curated various exhibitions. I write for numerous art magazines and I published essays in the catalogues of the exhibitions "Fluxus a Senigallia" (Rocca Roveresca, Senigalia), "Opere di Paul De Vree nelle Collezioni Italiane (Rocca di Umbertide, Umbertide), "L'Isola - Pierre Garnier" (Fondazione Berardelli, Brescia), "Winterreise. From Asolo to New York and vice versa 1974" (Archivio Conz, Verona), "Favole ed altre storie - Julien Blaine" (Fondazione Berardelli, Brescia). Since the beginning of the 1990s I have also taken an interest in psychoanalysis and I have been a member since 2001 of Italy's Scuola Lacaniana di Psicoanalisi. In 2004, I was awarded a D.E.A. in "Psychanalyse Concept et Clinique" by th Université Paris-8. My publications in the field of psychoanalysis include: "L'ostentazione del reale nell'arte contemporanea" (Annali della Sezione Clinica di Milano), "Losquartamento estetico. La distruzione della bellezza nella Body Art" (Il disagio della Bellezza - Ed. Franco Angeli, 2006). Since the year 2000, I have also been active as an editor for small presses and I have produced the volumes "Riviste d'Arte d'Avanguardia. Gli anni Sessanta e Settanta in Italia (in collaborazione con Giorgio Maffei - Ed. Bonnard, 2005) and "Sarenco: le riviste, la lotta. Storia di un esploratore d'avanguardia" (Ed. Nomadnomad, 2006).
