which is why for the happening this afternoon i'm going to take polariods, stamp them, take a photo of them and leave them. i really need fluxus. keeps me sane

I'm strictly a consumer in the art business, and the biggest problem for me is the cost. $50 million for a Jackson Pollock is completely out of the question. But I can usually afford the stuff that's in vending machines.
The best bargain I ever found, in art or anything else, was buying copies of the City Moon for 25¢ from a newspaper box outside the student union in Lawrence, Kansas. I think I eventually acquired a complete collection. They weren't sold in chronological order like some newspapers, and I was always very pleased on days when the box contained an issue that I didn't already have.
