Mission Statement:
The Open Fluxus Foundation will enhance the community, educate, and provide economic experiences through the first fluxus artist residency program.

Vision Statement:
Open Fluxus Foundation will:

Enhance the community – by generating local enthusiasm for the arts; providing a diverse and stimulating environment for residents; and making building improvements in Fredericktown.

Educate – resident artists by providing a stimulating environment for artistic creation; and educate the local community via studio visits and exhibitions.

Provide an economic experience – by sustaining the residency program on limited funds; providing an inspiring, primitive living situation for residents; and making it financially possible for any applicant to attend.

Timeline:

by March 15, 2007
• Form Open Fluxus Foundation non-profit organization

by April 12, 2007
• Raise donations for Open Fluxus Foundation

2007-2009
• Raise donations and revenue for repair and renovation
• Lease rentable commercial spaces of the building to assist in raising funds
• Renovate and repair studio and living spaces for Open Fluxus Foundation Residency Program
• Promote Residency Program
• Receive, review, and accept residency applications

Summer 2008
• First annual Open Fluxus Foundation summer residency
